Calling all artists and creators to America House! Have you been wanting to expand your skills in a new and modern way? Do you want to use technology that could help you in a future job? You’re in luck! America House has a new graphic tablet for digital art creation! This type of art takes a lot of practice and is very different from traditional drawing and painting on paper, so make sure you take advantage of this free resource.
What are the features of a typical graphic tablet?
One of the best things about graphic tablets is that they allow you to create better digital art by using a pen instead of the computer mouse. This can help artists to keep aspects of their personal style that they have learned on paper, and pressure sensitivity settings (pushing harder with the pen gives you darker/thicker lines) can also help make creating digital art feel a bit more natural.
The main challenge with using these tablets is learning to draw on the tablet and have the image show up on the computer screen. Again, this takes a lot of time to master, but the final results can be very rewarding!
There are a variety of programs for you to use including:
Adobe Photoshop
Corel Paintshop
Autodesk Sketchbook
Krita
Illustrator
And many more!
What are the features of the HUION 1080 Plus?
Over 8,000 levels of pen pressure sensitivity gives you great control over your work!
There are 12 “hard” keys on the side of the tablet and 16 “soft” keys along the top that allow you to access the tools that you use the most often.
With built in 8GB of storage, saving your work is very simple.
Huion recently redesigned this tablet so there is better synchronization between the pen and the computer screen.
