America House Makerspace is a place where you can try top notch technology for educational, personal and business development needs. Here you can find:

3D printers and a 3D scanner for prototyping
Vinyl cutters and Thermo-press for branding
Arduino and Raspberry Pi 3 for programming controllers
Midi Keyboard for composing music
iMacs for coding, video and photo editing, 3D modelling etc.

You can use Makerspace equipment with your America House membership card. If you are not a member yet, no worries, you can get your free membership card in 10 minutes at the reception desk.

All equipment and materials are provided for free at America House, so please respect your fellow makers and follow the Makerspace rules:

GENERAL RULES

Follow America House admission and conduct rules;
No food and drinks;
Using equipment for illegal activities, advertising, lobbying, or commercial purposes is prohibited;
Use your own external or cloud storage for personal files (all images, videos, recordings and projects will be removed from Makerspace terminals as users check out);
Personal equipment and other needed accessories are welcome.

EQUIPMENT RULES

In order to use Makerspace equipment, please book it in advance using Makerspace Booking System.
3D printed projects must be less than 50mm x 50mm x 50mm, less than 15g of plastic or take less than 1.5 hours of printing time;
Sticker and T-shirt designs created with Vinyl Cutters must be less than 30cm x 30cm.

If you want to create a bigger project using 3D Printer or Vinyl Cutter, fill in this form.

MAKERSPACE BOOKING SYSTEM

Observing the spirit of the social distancing directives issued by the Kyiv city authorities and the Cabinet of Ministers on March 11, America House will temporarily curtail public programming at our facilities from March 12, 2020 until further notice.
