Hello America House friends! Conversation Club is back on Tuesday, June 14th to engage participants in discussing the topic of loneliness and ways to combat it. Whether you are in a new place by yourself or feeling isolated while still around others, this class is for you. We will have a safe space to discuss our feelings and connect with others on strategies and techniques during times of loneliness. All people with any language proficiency level are invited. America House's English Language Resident Meagan will run a Conversation Club to support Ukrainians displaced in new regions or in familiar surroundings but with new realities. The sessions will help Ukrainians adapt to their environment, improve confidence in communication and expand their English-language vocabulary in areas relevant to their current experiences and challenges. During the meetings, participants will cover crucial topics, practice grammar, and build listening and speaking skills in an open and safe online environment.
