A performer's journey with Mackenzie Thomas

Wondering how one can become a successful performer and what it takes to work on the stages of Broadway and Cirque Du Soleil? Our guest speaker Mackenzie Thomas has proven that these dreams can come true, and she is excited to share her story with you!

Join us for a chat with Mackenzie, trainer of the Fresh: Art of Dance & Broadway and learn more about her personal journey of going on Broadway with Mamma Mia in NYC and Cirque Du Soleil’s Mystére and Zarkana in Las Vegas. She will also share how she built her career and how to navigate the career choices and challenges to forge one’s own path. During the session, Mackenzie will uncover how to manage rejection and self-care within a demanding profession and how the aspiring performer can find a great manager and fulfill his or her potential.

This session is a part of the Fresh: Art of Dance & Broadway from the USA program, organized in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, the Association of American Voices, America House Kyiv, and the State Department’s Arts Envoy Program.

Join this event on June 4 at 7 pm and feel free to ask any questions you have. We’ll be streaming this session to our Facebook and YouTube pages.
