Do you find contemporary art controversial and unclear? Are you eager to learn more about American art and artists? Answers are waiting for you!
We invite you to a interact with American artist, Daniel Turner, who works primarily in sculpture involving the manipulation of materials, objects, and environments into tactile or atmospheric forms. For Turner, form is a process of transformation. His choice of materials speaks to familiar, yet constrained environments, preserving the physical affects which a place gathers to itself. His approach allows him to save a sensory link to geographical locations, cultural associations and human contact.
You will learn more about the most recent work Daniel created in Ukraine for Future Generation Art Prize Exhibition. He produced three sculptures in response to the Vinnitsa Regional Psychoneurological Hospital recasting integral elements of the Ukrainian hospital into both solid and ephemeral forms. To find out more join Artist Talk which will be moderated by curator Tetiana Kochubinska.
