Corruption In Our Life – How To Stay Away

Come and practise your English speaking skills by discussing how to stay away form corruption in our everyday life. 

We will discuss:

  • The most common types of corruption in an ordinary citizen's life - based on your personal experience and your relatives/friends.
  • Who cares and should care enough to fight corruption in our country?
  • What changesthe mentality of Ukrainian society, so citizens would not participate in and tolerate corruption?
  • How an ordinary citizen can make an input in eliminating corruption in the country?

This discussion will be facilitated by Igor Goncharenko, former Manager on Anti-Corruption Reform Project Office of the National Reform Council. Igor led the project on development of the anti-corruption communications framework strategy and concept for the communications platform "DeCorruption” (Dekoruptsia). He worked in the team that conducted the largest international anti-corruption conference in Ukraine. Marshall Memorial Fellow of the German Marshall Fund.
