Join Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer (and Connecticut native), RaeJean Stokes, for a screening and discussion of the brand-new documentary, Newtown. Newtown is an emotional journey to small town Connecticut, the site of our nation’s deadliest mass shooting of schoolchildren in American history on December 14, 2012. Filmed over the course of nearly three years, the filmmakers use unique access and never before heard testimonies to tell a story of the aftermath of that fateful day, and how a community fractured by grief can also be driven toward a sense of purpose.
